Studies in Scripture is intended to be a source for anyone who is interested in growing in their understanding of the message of the Scriptures. The Scriptures in view are the sixty six books of the Bible and theological and topical studies which are sourced in the Bible. These resources may prove to be useful for anyone interested in pursuit of a better understanding of God’s word or for preparing sermons or personal or group Bible studies. Discussion guides include the author’s answers to the questions asked to help the reader understand his intention in asking the questions, but the guides may be reproduced without the answers for use in group discussions. And they may be adapted as needed by group leaders when adaptations prove more useful to discussion leaders. The materials on this site may be printed out for group distribution, but they should not be re-published and they are intended to be used without charge.
The studies are based on the New American Standard Bible (1995 edition in most cases). The New American Standard Bible is highly regarded as one of the most accurate translations of the Bible in the English language.
